(short version)

Like his extensive training rewarded with eight first prizes at the Conservatories of Toulouse and Orléans, Jean-Pierre GRIVEAU leads a career as a multi-faceted musician.

Titular organist of the organs of Orleans Cathedral from 2001 to 2022 and artistic director of the International Festival "Au son des orgues" from 2011 to 2022, he performs regularly in France, in various European countries and as far as Japan. Traveling through an eclectic repertoire in a "sensitive and elegant game", he reveals a "true sense of the organ", of registration and accompaniment. He is also a member of various Duos and Trios, whose criticism has highlighted their excellence and perfect communion.

A certified teacher in 1992, he joined the Conservatoire d'Orléans in 1998, where he currently teaches musical composition and analysis. Organ teacher in various academies and during master classes, Jean-Pierre GRIVEAU is also an improviser, poet and composer: musical or literary, his works are expressed in a rigorous and colorful language, which he never ceases to renew.
